Thanks to Thomas Plowman and Kelly Howze, once the Campus Food Access Fund receives 75 gifts during Day of the Badger, $5,000 will be unlocked.

Your gift to the Campus Food Access Fund will provide support for student food security initiatives on campus, including the student-run Open Seat Food Pantry and the Badger Food Assistance Resources for Emergencies (FARE) Program, which adds $75 to a student’s Wiscard for immediate use to purchase food on campus.

With the rising cost of tuition to everyday living expenses, students are sometimes forced to make tough decisions between investing in their education and meeting their most basic needs. This struggle should not define the college experience.

Thank you for helping students have access to healthy, fresh, and varied food so that no Badger goes hungry, and every Badger can have their fullest Wisconsin Experience.

Gifts will be contributed to the Campus Food Access Fund – 112900459 at the University of Wisconsin Foundation.
